I’m Raquel, a visual artist working with colour, texture, and digital distortion.
My work lives between control and imperfection, where images shift, unravel, and take form. I’m interested in that tension, where something feels both intentional and unpredictable.
Each piece begins with a photograph. From there, I transform it through colour grading and digital distressing, building expressive, painterly compositions.
Strata 83 was created to symbolise all the layering, which is central to my process. Through high-contrast colour, digital brushwork, and surface erosion, I create depth, movement, and a sense of energy within each piece.
